Open the download page
Paste a YouTube video link. We’ll check its format and prepare a link to Softlookup’s existing download page.
Before you continue: the download page uses an external service. Available formats, quality, and successful downloads depend on that service. This homepage does not convert videos.
Your link is ready. Continue to the download page to check availability.

Play a file from your device
Choose a video or audio file to preview it with your browser’s playback controls. The player reads your selected file locally without uploading it.
Or drag a file into this box
Try MP4, WebM, MP3, M4A, or WAV. Playback depends on your browser and the file’s codec.
Selecting a file does not change its format, resolution, or quality. The site also uses advertising and page analytics.

Questions & troubleshooting
Does this homepage convert YouTube videos?
No. It prepares a link to Softlookup’s download page, which uses an external download service. It also provides a local media player. It does not generate MP4 or MP3 files itself.
Why isn’t a download available?
The external service may be unavailable or unable to process a video. A valid video link does not guarantee a download. This page cannot guarantee HD, 4K, audio extraction, or a particular output format.
Why won’t my local file play?
Your browser may not support the file’s codec, even if the extension is MP4. Try another browser or use a desktop media player. Renaming the file extension does not convert it.
Are local files uploaded?
The player uses a temporary browser object URL for the selected file; it does not upload that file. Clear the player or close the page when you’re done. Advertising and analytics scripts may make separate network requests.
What kinds of YouTube links can I use?
Use a link to an individual video: a watch URL, youtu.be short link, Shorts URL, live-video URL, or embed URL. Playlist-only links, channel pages, and links to other websites are not accepted.
